The year is 1978. The war against the Death Eaters has been boiling under the surface for almost a decade now. It was little things at first, easy to ignore, escalating to bigger attacks, bigger crimes, and of course, retaliation. Now the country is about ready to tear itself apart as the Ministry steps up their attempts to defeat Voldemort and no one is really sure who they should trust, if they should trust anyone at all. Who can you turn to when your own government is as likely to kill you as the masked criminals roaming the streets?
Even the muggles are starting to notice. Attacks in muggle places are becoming more frequent, the Death Eaters getting more bold. And everyone is asking the same question. How long before it's open war? The First War is a Post-Warts, MWPP era RPG. We are canon through November 1st, 1978 and then we diverge, allowing the characters to tell their own stories.
Currently we are most interested in: Order Members, Death Eaters, and MLE Employees |

The King was rather busy last night it seems! I wish we could put in requests, or something. I'd love to see some people from my year.
Mandy's basically created a flying broom - have you thought about going into broom making? If everyone helps gather materials for some more, I'll bet we could have full scale quidditch matches going on soon! And with a clinic possibly opening up soon, we've almost a real town on our hands. It's kind of inspiring to see what can be accomplished in even the weirdest of situations.
[Hexed to Lucy Weasley] Hey, er... yeah, that woman is Molly Weasley. She's not a Weasley yet though, Prewett is your grandmother's maiden name. I noticed your argument got a bit out of hand, but maybe it'll just take an apology on both your parts? Obviously you weren't expect to see her from the 60's or 70's, I think she'd understand. She's actually really nice Would you like me to say something to her?

What I wouldn't give for a quidditch match. Any match. Mandy, how are those brooms coming along? I thought our (your) last provisions were brilliant, hopefully they stuck! I'd give an arm just to fly again - being on the ground is really no fun.
I suppose being here isn't all bad. It's given me a chance to meet, interact, and befriend people I never would have. Especially since everyone is from all sorts of times! It's a touch hard to accept that none of my family or best mates are here, but I can only hope they're on their way.
Sirius, have you managed to secure any chocolate frogs? I'd give an arm for some frogs as well.

I really, really do not understand what's going on. I've come to terms with the fact that people from all sorts of generations are here (which, by the way, can anyone tell me about my future?). But all this madness? I didn't mind the sky being red, it happens to be one of my favourite colours - thank you Gryffindor. It's the lion, or housecat, and horses that bother me. Not to mention the bloody cold! Has anyone found a clothing store? I freeze when I go outside, it's not so bad in my room, but my room is lonely.
I'll bet no one's figured out any patterns, right? Of who and when people come?
